Debbie Earl - Fitness in the family!

When Debbie Earl’s son, Robert, discovered his love of British Military Fitness, it didn’t take long for him to persuade his mother and two sisters to give it a try. Debbie, 59, from Droitwich, says working out with the family not only strengthens their bond, but is also the greatest motivation.

Debbie, a secondary school teacher, has been working out with her two daughters, Rosamund and Madeline in their local park - Worcester Woods Country Park for the last three years.

STRENGTHENED OUR BOND AND ALLOWED US TO SPEND QUALITY TIME TOGETHER

Debbie commented: “Working out with my daughters has really strengthened our bond and allowed us to spend quality time together doing something we all enjoy. We really spur each other on, and it encourages us to try our best. It is also very beneficial to my health and wellbeing, which is very important to me and not only in a physical sense. British Military Fitness really relaxes you mentally and calms you down. Being outside in the fresh air, as well as the buzz you get from exercising, makes you feel fantastic!”

“One thing I love most about BMF is that there is a lot of teamwork. So, I enjoy doing that with my daughters, but also the rest of the group as everyone is very welcoming and supportive. Before BMF I wouldn’t even have ran to the end of my road, and wouldn’t do exercise if I was on my own, so it is very beneficial to have likeminded people around you to motivate you. Not to mention the fact I now feel much fitter and healthier than before, and my clothes fit perfectly!”

I WOULD RECOMMEND PEOPLE GIVE BMF A GO. IT HAS DEFINITELY CHANGED MY LIFE

Debbie and her daughter, Rosamund, train in the intermediate ‘red bib’ group at BMF, whilst Madeline trains with the ‘green bibs’, the advanced group of the classes. The trio are some of the park’s longest standing BMF members, as the park has just reached its third anniversary as a venue for the fitness classes.

Debbie added: “I would recommend people give BMF a go. It has definitely changed my life. You can even get your first session for free so you don’t have to commit to anything. Next to persuade is my husband – I am on the case!
