3. BMF venues and classes
3.1 Before attending any class, you must book via the Member App/Member area of the BMF website so that we are aware of the class you would like to attend, and the instructor is aware of your planned attendance.
3.2 If you are unable to attend a class that you have booked, you must cancel as soon as possible via the Member App/Member area. We reserve the right to prevent further bookings being made by those that fail to attend up to three classes without cancelling.
3.3 Waiting lists will be available on most classes so that, when a space becomes available, those on a waiting list will receive a notification for them to book into the class (this will be on a first come first served basis).
3.4 Your membership is assigned to your Home Venue.

4. Class timetables
4.1 We may on occasion need to make changes to our class timetable. Where possible, we will notify you of our intention to do this with as much notice as possible. If our published classes are unavailable at your Home Venue or a venue within a 20-minute drive for at least 10 calendar days out of 30, you may be entitled to an appropriate prorated refund.

5. About your membership fees
5.1 Monthly membership fees and advance payments
5.1.1 All members, whether paying annually or monthly, will pay a joining fee.
5.1.2 Super Value memberships are paid on the date of joining.
5.1.3 For all other memberships, Members will pay a pro rata amount on the date of joining for the period from their date of joining to the end of that calendar month. Thereafter, monthly membership fees are paid in advance on the first working day of the month.
5.1.4 Payment may be made either by debit / credit card or by direct debit, taken from your bank account by our authorised collection agent, Be Military Fit, or its nominee.

5.2 Missing membership fee payments
5.2.1 If our authorised collection agent, Be Military Fit, or its nominee, is unable to collect your membership fee at the first attempt, it is instructed to make three further attempts to collect at weekly intervals. After three unsuccessful attempts we will suspend your membership.
5.2.2 We may refer any missed payments to a third-party debt-collection agency.
5.2.3 If you fall behind with your membership payments for more than 30 days, we may charge you an administration fee of £30 plus vat.

5.3 Fee changes
5.3.1 We review our membership fees from time to time. We will give you at least one calendar month’s written notice of any such changes to your membership fees and you have the right to cancel your membership of BMF within 14 days or receipt of our notice by providing written notice to us if the new terms are not agreeable.

6. Suspending, cancelling or transferring your membership

6.1 Suspending your membership

6.1.1 As a benefit to membership, you can suspend your membership in the event of prolonged absence such as serious illness or injury. This benefit is for full calendar months only and available for a minimum of one month and up to a maximum period of six calendar months.
6.1.2 Suspension may be activated from the start of your next payment date, by giving at least seven days’ notice before that date. Notice is required to be provided in writing.
6.1.3 For notices received less than seven days before your next payment date, membership will be suspended on the same date of the following month.
6.1.4 If you have a medical condition which prevents you from training temporarily, we may allow an extended suspension period. Medical suspension periods can be for a maximum of twelve months. We will require proof of your medical condition, such as a doctor’s certificate. We will suspend your membership upon receipt of doctor's certificate or other proof from the next available payment date.
6.1.5 When suspending your membership, you will need to supply a re-start date. Your membership fee payments will automatically commence on the re-start date. You are responsible for ensuring that we have received written notice of both your intention to suspend your membership and your proposed  re-start date.

6.2 How to cancel your membership

6.2.1 Should you wish to cancel your monthly membership you are required to notify us in writing.
6.2.1 You must give us notice to cancel your membership of BMF in line with the membership type you have chosen. For instance, if you have chosen a ‘Rolling’ membership you will need to give us seven days’ notice, whereas if you have chosen a ‘Flexi’ membership you will need to give us three months’ notice.
6.2.3 Notice takes effect from the 1st of the month following the date that notice is given.
6.2.4 Notices received after 17.30 will be deemed to have been received on the next working day. You are responsible for ensuring that we have confirmed receipt of your notice.
6.2.5 Cancelling your direct debit does not mean that you have given us notice to end your membership. If you stop paying, but do not give us notice, you are still obligated to pay the fees. You must give us written notice in line with clause 6.2.1.

6.3 How to change your Home Venue

6.3.1 Your membership of BMF is personal to you and cannot be assigned or transferred to another individual.
