BMF London - Clapham Common

Due to COVID-19, outdoor classes have a limited number of spaces, therefore please make sure you book in via the app.

About Clapham Common

There are many reasons why Clapham Common is our most popular park. An idyllic, scenic hub of fitness, the park's mostly flat landscape is well maintained, including football pitches, running trails and footpaths. Within the common lies lakes and the bandstand to run around, making Clapham Common the perfect place to enjoy exercising outdoors. Importantly, the social scene of BMF Clapham is thriving and the park has built up a following of members who like to work hard but play even harder!

BMF incorporates the latest military methodology combined with cutting-edge training programmes to deliver results-driven workouts. These aspects are deeply rooted in community fitness, so we can provide a fun yet challenging workout. The workouts are tailored to all abilities and the BMF community here is thriving and welcomes newcomers, whatever your fitness level, with open arms.

At BMF we are concerned about our carbon footprint, therefore we deliver our workouts in the most sustainable environment available.

All BMF Clapham members have the use of BMF Tooting included in their membership. View the Tooting timetable and location by click here.

Tom Mannings

Tom Mannings

Before joining the military, Tom had been a lifelong keen athlete having competed at the highest level in tennis - achieving a UK Top Ten ranking. He also competed at a high level in various strength and fitness competitions, gaining a World Record in one event along the way. Deciding on a new challenge in life, Tom went into the military. He enjoyed his time there tremendously and achieved the award of PT Superior. Unfortunately, a traumatic injury resulted in an unwanted medical discharge from the service, but this cloud has now proven to have had a silver lining due to all the knowledge gained about rehabilitation, recovering from injury, gaining fitness in more than one way and of course keeping motivation high.
Tom is incredibly passionate about helping other people and always strives to make sure that everybody gets the best out of themselves in every fitness environment and session so that each individual can achieve their goals. He finds it a tremendously rewarding feeling seeing somebody else transform themselves after their own hard work.
