Before joining the military, Tom had been a lifelong keen athlete having competed at the highest level in tennis - achieving a UK Top Ten ranking. He also competed at a high level in various strength and fitness competitions, gaining a World Record in one event along the way. Deciding on a new challenge in life, Tom went into the military. He enjoyed his time there tremendously and achieved the award of PT Superior. Unfortunately, a traumatic injury resulted in an unwanted medical discharge from the service, but this cloud has now proven to have had a silver lining due to all the knowledge gained about rehabilitation, recovering from injury, gaining fitness in more than one way and of course keeping motivation high. Tom is incredibly passionate about helping other people and always strives to make sure that everybody gets the best out of themselves in every fitness environment and session so that each individual can achieve their goals. He finds it a tremendously rewarding feeling seeing somebody else transform themselves after their own hard work.
