Be Military Fit with Bear Grylls is supporting five London Cabbies as they target the ultimate endurance test - climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2019 - and aim to raise £20,000 for The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans along the way.
BMF has given the cabbies a year's free training to support their challenge and as the group collectively aim to improve their fitness and lose 25 stones.
Tommy Matthews, MD for BMF said "the Cabbies have already shown their determination and strength by digging in and getting great results early on in their preparation phase. There’s a long way to go but I am confident in they will make it."

Whether you are new to fitness or a seasoned athlete BMF tailor their workouts for all abilities. BMF workouts were originally developed to keep some of the fittest individuals on the planet in top shape. The workouts were so good, BMF thought it was selfish to keep this secret to themselves and developed and deployed the “civilian friendly” version you’ll find at your local BMF class.
About the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans
The Taxi Charity was formed in Fulham in 1948, to work for the benefit, comfort and enjoyment of military veterans and arranges many trips every year for veterans from all conflicts. The charity offers international trips to Holland, Belgium and France, UK day trips to concerts or museums, transport to attend fundraising events, as well as special days out to catch up with friends and comrades. To fund and facilitate these outings, the charity is wholly reliant on generous donations from members of the public, businesses and trusts and the amazing group of London licensed taxi drivers who offer their time and vehicles free.
