CROSSRUN offers all the support and motivation you’d expect from a BMF class, but without the burpees! Our instructors use only sturdy, well-lit paths for CROSSRUN running classes so that members can enjoy their run on trusted routes and with a group of likeminded friends. Better yet, our CROSSRUN classes are suitable for all abilities, and you can enjoy them at no extra cost.
Whether you are new to running, looking to learn how to run faster, or simply just want some company on your weekly runs, come along to your first class absolutely free and try for yourself. We can even coach you if you’re looking to train for a specific event you have coming up.
There are many health benefits of running. Increased metabolism, stronger lungs and healthier joints are just a few by-products. But these benefits only take effect when you commit to consistent training, and it can be a challenge to conjure up the courage to go running on the regular.
However, running for fitness purposes is remarkably good for you. With CROSSRUN by BMF, we give you a place where you can feel active and motivated every time you show up, which could be daily, weekly or even just every now and then when you fancy a change from your usual BMF classes.
CROSSRUN by BMF is suitable for all fitness levels. We’re here to help you start your journey. All you need to bring is your trainers and a willingness to take part, we’ll take care of the rest!
There’s no exact format; every class is different. You should expect a group warm up followed by a mixture of running drills, exercises to strengthen your core muscles, speed work, as well as team work. We’ll also give you some theory behind why you’re doing specific drills and explain what the health benefits of running are.
There will be a water break half way through and a cool down at the end.
Yes, CROSSRUN by BMF is for all fitness abilities. So long as you have the desire to get fitter and faster, you’ll be fine. No one will be left behind, and you’ll receive encouragement throughout from qualified running instructors and members alike.
Only a pair of running shoes, the correct clothing and a positive mindset! Running classes are meant to be fun and social, so be ready to make friends and feel good about yourself!
If we’re doing drills, we’ll provide things like cones and bibs. You can bring water, but we provide a water break half way through, too.
