Robert left the Army in 2008, already holding his Mountain Leader, Obstacle Course Instructor and Endurance Training Leader qualifications, and has since gone on to qualify as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist, as well as continuously increasing his knowledge of specialisations such as kettlebell training, suspension training and boxing coaching to name a few.

When not working as a class instructor, personal trainer or massage therapist, Robert enjoys spending his time completing and volunteering on Obstacle Course Races, and Blues Dancing (where he and his wife have won numerous medals, including a Gold in the 2019 National Championships).
