MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 2020

  • The current COVID-19 situation has made mental health more important than ever.
  • Loneliness, anxiety, and depression are just a few issues that more of us will face on a daily basis as a result of the outbreak.
  • This week we will be exploring ways in which you can promote positive mental health during lockdown.
  • Due to the impacts of the Global Pandemic,  the Mental Health Foundation have themed Mental Health Awareness Week around random acts of kindness. “By focusing on the importance of kindness and the role that it plays in our mental health, the goal of the campaign is to shape our society’s outlook on mental health as we return to normality in the future… Simply put, being kinder in our daily lives can reduce stress and improve our emotional wellbeing and physical health”.
