Ryan served in the 2nd Battalion Royal Green Jackets and 4th Battalion Rifles. After leaving the Army, Ryan boxed for the TA and Army Boxing Club and later qualified as a personal trainer and boxing coach before studying Sport and Exercise Science at The University of Roehampton where he graduated with First Class Honours.  Ryan is also a qualified Kettle Bell instructor and regularly uses fitness equipment to enhance the member experience.  A keen boxer since the age of 12, Ryan fulfilled a childhood dream and boxed professionally at the iconic York Hall and Wembley Arena. Now, he enjoys spending his time hitting things that don't punch back (punch bags!) and losing himself on long runs. 
 
Ryan first started working with BMF in 2009 and took a short break to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional boxer.  Ryan is passionate about BMF and lives and breathes the style of training which BMF offers.
