About Sefton Park

Come and join our friendly BMF community for a workout like no other. Each week you’ll be put through a challenging and fun workout with team games, paired exercises, circuits, strength work and running. Serious fun is guaranteed!

Jamie Bassett

Jamie joined the Royal Marines in 2008 and spent the infant stages of his career at 45 Commando, specialising in cold weather warfare and mountain navigation. He then progressed onto information exploitation and was deployed on Operation Herrick (Afghanistan) shortly after. Wanting a new challenge, Jamie then transferred over to the PT branch of the Royal Marines and completed the Royal Marines Physical Trainer Course. 

Jamie loves the challenge of creating new and enjoyable classes for all members, whilst maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere. He enjoys playing the guitar and progressing his knowledge as a physical trainer. Currently studying towards a degree in Physiotherapy and is qualified as a level 4 exercise specialist.
